I have had your image open for a while and have been sitting looking at it from time to time.
I like it very much. I like the combination of objects, shapes, colours and textures. You have achieved a great feeling of softness with the textures and images/part images and the light is good. I wondered for a while about the bright tones on the left and ended up thinking that the light tones balance out the darkness of the cat very well. God I wish I could do stuff like this!
Sounds a stoopid question but does it have a purpose, is it to fit in somewhere, what are its surroundings to be, did you create this with a place/purpose/space/lighting etc in mind?
Forgive my ignorant way of expressing these thoughts, I have no "language" of art criticism. I like it very much!
Cheers, Adam
Its colour scheme and general style reminds me of the work of some well-known artist but I cannot for the life of me remember who .... !!
Au revoir once more,
Adam
It was basically inspired by a photo I took of my housemate's cat. She was siting on a green velvet couch and I took a few photos trying different things. I really liked this photo and just wanted to combine it with some other abstract photos I took - I guess it's a snippet of my life - in an abstract way!
